this album finishes some of the unused material from the last album.
it also provides new material.
the album has a more focused sound, aiming for the more pessimistic side of my music.
the album frequently takes inspiration from and uses the sound of hang-drums and steel drums, and music specific to that sound.
it also includes a lot of experimentation, of the variety that i would usually exclude from an album, but some of it suits the sound here.
it was inspired by lorde, sbtrkt, disasterpeace, grimes, toro y moi, the poetry of robert frost, tame impala, and the kite string tangle.
